Creating A Tree With Leaf Prints + Links To FREE Printables!

CREATING THE LEAF PRINT TREE

I did a search for some leaf crafts and found this "Leaf Prints Tree" craft. I think it's a fun and creative thing for kids to do with leaves aside from leaf rubbing. In this activity, the kids are going to create a "tree" and create the leaves on the tree by stamping a painted leaf all around the tree trunk. There are different ways to create the trunk for your tree such as by drawing them, tracing your forearm and hand,  or using a tree trunk template.

GET CREATIVE WITH YOUR OWN LEAF PRINT TREE

We used a "small tree trunk with roots" template, Click Here To Check Out Printable Tree Trunk Templates in small and large sizes. This craft is good for kids of all ages and abilities, they can get creative and decide on the size of their tree, shape of the leaves and the overall look and kind of tree they want. MATERIALS TO CREATE A LEAF PRINT TREE:

* construction paper or bond paper * tree trunk template (optional) * scissor (to cut a tree trunk pattern or template) * solid glue stick (for sticking tree trunk onto paper) * poster paints * paint brush * paint palette tray * leaves (in various shapes and sizes) * pencil or brown marker (if you opt to draw or trace a tree trunk) * brown crayon (to color a drawn or traced tree trunk on paper)

Print FREE printables for home DIYs and more! I'm using "HP Ink Tank 115" single function inkjet printer in printing templates and printables, I bought it online at shopee.ph. It is a quality and low-cost printer for home printing that uses tank for the ink.
