Create a long strip of "crepe paper curtain" and conveniently tape it directly onto a wall on "celebration day" without having to tape each crepe papers one by one and save time and effort in putting up your backdrop, the same method can also be used to create a crepe paper table skirt.

HOW TO CREATE A CREPE PAPER CURTAIN BACKDROP
1. Measure the length of the wall or area you want to attach your crepe paper backdrop. I use a 12 inch ruler to get the length of the area in inches, I am able to measure (4 parts) of 12 inches for the area of the wall I will attach my backdrop to, (4 x 12 = 48) so my curtain strip will be 48 inches long. You may also use tape measure. Take note of the measurement on a paper.
2. I used cartolina paper as the strip for my crepe paper curtain or you may use any kind of paper preferably one with a heavy weight texture. Draw a line using a 12-inch ruler with the total length measurement of the area you have taken note of earlier onto the paper you will use as strip for your backdrop.
3. After drawing the length, draw the desired width then cut the pattern, I have 2 inches as my width. I just connect the 4 pieces of 12 inch strip patterns together with scotch tape, I don't overlap them but just connect the strips end to end as seen in the illustration image below.
4. After creating the strip, cut crepe papers and glue some onto the strip pattern one by one to the end using dry glue stick so as not to smudge the crepe paper, you may also glue some crepe papers on the other side of the strip pattern if you want to double or make the outcome of your curtain somewhat thicker and many in volume altogether. Secure your crepe paper curtain properly by taping the front as well as the back part of the strip of paper using wide scotch tape.
5. Now, you have your crepe paper curtain to immediately tape on the wall on celebration day. Add the decorations to spice it up.
HOW TO CREATE A CREPE PAPER TABLE SKIRT
Follow the same steps to create a crepe paper table skirt such as the ones in the sample picture below. This is an alternative if you don't have a table cloth in the desired color you want for a dessert or food table. You can also use this to tape around the sides of a plain table cloth as extra embellishment.
DIY Crepe Paper Table Skirt
Measure and create a separate strip for all sides of the table, on both sides and the front only, you can leave the back part as it is. I cover the top of my table with a cartolina paper and plastic cover before taping the crepe paper table skirt on the sides and front. You may also use fabric to cover your table and just attach your crepe paper table skirt all around the sides using thumbtacks.
MATERIALS FOR THIS DIY
* cartolina or heavy weight paper * scotch tape * scissor * ruler * solid glue stick * pencil * crepe papers * thumbtacks (if attaching backdrop or table skirt on wooden or fabric surface)
