Earth Day Flowers in Nature Craft | Reusing Scrap, Extra or Unused Papers + Links To FREE Printables

One of those important events being observed around us that we took time to focus on in our home learning incorporating different activities, addressing challenges and issues in my daughter with Autism is "Earth Day". We did this craft reusing extra and scrap papers such as construction papers and pattern papers from previous activities, you can also do this using old magazine papers.

HOW TO CREATE THIS FLOWERS IN NATURE CRAFT

Step #1: Print any flower shape template of choice, check out the links to FREE printables above.

Step #2: Allow child to choose which flower shape and size they like, next cut the chosen flower templates.

Step #3:  Allow child to choose which background they would like for their picture by providing choices of construction paper they could use.

Step #4: Next lay out the scraps of papers or magazine papers and let child trace the flower pattern, circles (flower centerpieces), leaves and grass onto the chosen papers then let child cut the traced patterns.

Step #5: Next, let child cut long thin strips of papers on any chosen scrap paper for the flower stems.

Step #6: Once all pieces are cut, it's time to create the flowers in nature. First, let child glue the stems onto the background paper.
