Creating Fun Paper Hats + Link To FREE Printables!

This was an art project that Lauren did in Brightly Beaming Resources' (Step 2: Letter of the Week) home school curriculum for the "h" sound as in "hat", you can create any type of hat and we are going to make "cone hats".

CREATING SOME FUN PAPER HATS

For our hat patterns, we used a party hat template, Click Here To Check Out FREE Printable Birthday Hat Template we used. We chose the Birthday Hat template as it has an opening at the top to add toppers like strips of papers as extra accents for the monster hair.  For the eyes, nose, and mouth of our hats I made them myself using shape tools in MSWord. We used pink, yellow, and green construction papers to print the birthday hat template on. In this activity you can allow your child to choose which color of paper they like or what kind of hat they want to make to get them involve in the decision making.

Print FREE printables for home DIYs and more! I'm using "HP Ink Tank 115" single function inkjet printer in printing templates and printables, I bought it online at shopee.ph. It is a quality and low-cost printer for home printing that uses tank for the ink.
