Merry Christmas Everyone! I was thinking about something that me and Lauren could do on Christmas day since we are stuck at home and this idea came to me about viewing some Christmas movies together, I want to make it a bit different than the usual home movie viewing so I decided to try making these fun pop corn and chips boxes with a Christmas theme and feel to it.

CREATING THE BOXES + LINK TO FREE PRINTABLES!
I made our boxes using a pop corn box template, Click Here To Check Out The FREE Printable Pop Corn Box Template I used. This template makes a larger pop corn box as compare to other printable pop corn boxes that has the whole box template in one page. This pop corn box has a design on it but the PDF file comes with a separate blank "cut-fold" guide template. I use the blank guide template and print it directly onto a red and green construction paper, it works but it's much better to use a heavy weight paper such as card stock, specialty board or any type of paper of the same texture. I added dots all around our plain boxes to spice them up.
Try using pattern papers in Christmas colors if you want to skip adding any details on it by hand like I did. Create some Christmas inspired pop corn boxes with these FREE printable "Christmas Digital Papers" in shades of red & green by clicking on the links below. Simply print them on a white heavy weight paper, just extract any pattern you prefer to use for your DIY pop corn boxes into a specified location in your computer.
Double click the extracted pattern to open it in image viewer, next click on the "printer" icon, in the print dialog box select the following settings: PAPER SIZE - Letter "8.5 x 11", PHOTO SIZE - "full page" and FIT - "fill page" next click on "print". After printing the pattern paper, print the blank pop corn box "cut-fold" guide template onto it from the back side of the pattern paper.
Below are the links to the printable digital papers, check out the collage image above for the pattern designs you can expect, the links are arranged in the order that the pattern images appear in the collage.
ADDING LABELS ON THE BOXES + LINK TO FREE PRINTABLES!
I use a "pop corn" word clip art for our pop corn box label (as seen in the images above) and added a little santa hat to it to give it that extra Christmas vibe. Here, I put together a set of "pop corn" and "chips" labels (as seen below) that you can print immediately and stick to your boxes. Click Here To Check Out The FREE Printable Pop Corn & Chips Box Labels, you may print them on a sticker paper or if you don't have sticker paper, on a bond paper and just stick to the boxes with solid glue stick.
Before printing the labels, make sure the settings are as follows: PAPER SIZE - "A4", SCALE (%) - "80". Below are 2 sample popcorn boxes I put together using the printables, you may use scotch tape in constructing the boxes to make them more secure. Transfer pop corn and chips from a bag that you bought in the grocery into it or cook your own pop corn and chips, be sure to drain any unnecessary oil or cool them off before putting the said snacks into the boxes.
EXTRA CHRISTMAS BEVERAGE CUP + LINK TO FREE PRINTABLE!
I had Christmas cups to go along with our Christmas theme pop corn and chips boxes. I found this printable "Christmas coffee cup sleeves" and wrapped it around our plain disposable cups, Click Here To Check Out The FREE Printable Christmas Coffee Cup Sleeves. These printable cup sleeves were great and just perfect around our disposable cups and added an extra Christmas feel to it, a great pair for these DIY Christmas Pop Corn & Chips Boxes!
We watched the movies outdoors late in the afternoon from a laptop. We watched short Christmas movies such as "Frosty the Snowman" and "The 12 days of Christmas" from YouTube.
Make ordinary Christmas movie viewing time a fun one just like going to the cinema, create your own unique Christmas pop corn and chips boxes. Get creative and make special Christmas memories, try it this Holiday season!
