Happy Mother's Day! This year, I decided to do a little celebration with a cake and a DIY picture backdrop along with some props for a colorful and fun memory of mother's day 2018. We went on a 4-day road trip 2 weeks ago, Lauren loves swimming in the pool so she got sunburned from spending about 6 hours under the sun in a waterpark we went to.
Now it's back to normal for us and time for Mother's Day, I decided to try doing this little celebration. It's something I have never done for myself before and I chose "roses" as the theme. Try creating one to celebrate yourself as a "MOM", for your MOM or for the moms in your family.
GET CREATIVE WITH A BACKDROP
I create backdrops for use as special background for picture taking pertaining to a certain occasion. I mostly use crepe papers to create a backdrop but you can use fabric or any kind of material you like. Get creative with a backdrop and use it for any purpose you like.

For this DIY backdrop, I was supposed to use a "pink" crepe paper but most stores I went to run out of pink crepe papers so I decided to use "sky blue" crepe papers instead. I simply use one color of crepe paper for this backdrop, you may use several colors of choice and combine them together to create your backdrop.
