Zombie Toss: Create A Plants VS Zombies Inspired Halloween Game + Links to FREE Printables!

This year, for some fun this Halloween season, I made this game that me and Lauren played inspired and involving characters from the popular tower defense game "Plants VS Zombies". I call this game "zombie toss", I use a small empty cardboard box to create a zombie head that will be used to toss onto the plant characters. I used small disposable cups as stand of the plant characters. The cups hold prizes inside them that anyone can get from knocking down any of the plant characters. Happy Birthday to me. Since, I got older, I don't usually pay attention to my birthday. For me, my birthday is just like any other ordinary day. I mostly just focus on doing something and preparing only for my kid's birthday but I've learned and realized a lot of things in the last year so from now on, I will be paying importance as well and will take time to celebrate my birthday in any way I can every year since it is the day that I came out and exist into this world.

This year, I chose "queen of hearts" as the theme for my birthday. Since, my birthday falls in February which is the month of "hearts" so I think this theme fits. The elements and colors of this DIY I made is inspired by the character "Queen of Hearts" from the classic Disney movie "Alice in wonderland".

GET CREATIVE WITH A BACKDROP

I made a backdrop using dark green crepe papers and hanged some rose vines from the top. This is both a picture and birthday table backdrop, The idea was from a scene in the movie Disney's "Alice in Wonderland" where there are walls filled with green leaves and a tree of white roses that Alice & the card gardeners painted red for the Queen of Hearts. I use "rose vines" because they are easy to make and they look lovely too.

DIY QUEEN OF HEARTS INSPIRED BIRTHDAY TABLE

I mostly use crepe papers to decorate a birthday table, I'm using a medium sized foldable table. I cover the top with red cartolina and plastic cover for protection then taped some strips of crepe papers in red, white, golden yellow and black all around the front and sides of the table. This is just an alternative if you don't have tablecloth but you could also additionally attach it around a plain tablecloth for added style pertaining to a theme.

Get creative with your own birthday or dessert table using crepe papers or you can simply just purchase table skirts in the theme colors if you don't have time making it by hand. Conveniently and quickly cover or decorate sides of a table by measuring width and length of each sides. Create a long strip of paper with the measurement and tape the crepe paper strips onto it. SIMPLE "QUEEN OF HEARTS" INSPIRED CLOTHING

The celebrant could wear clothing with similar colors or details as the "queen of hearts", just combine anything that suits you or your style. Her clothing is inspired and is quite similar to the "playing cards" character, I wore a red short sleeve leotard paired with a printed black and white loose pants, I added a gold necklace with some black details on it to complete the look.
