Chinese New Year is here. We don't usually pay attention to this event in the past year but this year I decided to do something for it. We are not Chinese but here in the Philippines the celebration is known and accepted by the Filipino public and celebrated by Filipino Chinese. On the day of this event, when you get to go out you are reminded of its celebration in the malls, the Chinese food that is being sold, bought and shared by people, etc.

2018 is the "year of the dog", I thought about doing some dog masks that me and Lauren can wear in honor of the day. I used a dog mask template, Click Here To Check Out FREE Printable Dog Or Puppy Mask Templates we used. There are 3 kinds of dog templates in blank and colored, I printed the blank ones and painted it with the colors red and golden yellow and added some details inspired by this Chinese event.
Create some for the kids or allow the kids to make one for themselves. Customized a blank mask and paint or color it your way, then add details by drawing or using sequins, stickers or punch various shapes using a hole or shape puncher to decorate your masks. These masks can be worn by both adults and kids, the half mask style fits well for adults like the one I'm wearing while the whole face mask is kinda small and short when worn by an adult, they are design to fit a kid's face.
Get creative with your own animal face mask and celebrate "Chinese New Year" featuring the animal sign of the year, wear them as picture props for a fun "Chinese New Year" photo. Print FREE printables for home DIYs and more! I'm using "HP Ink Tank 115" single function inkjet printer in printing templates and printables, I bought it online at shopee.ph. It is a quality and low-cost printer for home printing that uses tank for the ink.
It needs a total of 4 ink bottles (CMYK) to refill the tank, you can save even more by refilling with universal ink. Just make sure the ink is compatible with the printer model before deciding on a purchase.
