Zombie Toss: Create A Plants VS Zombies Inspired Halloween Game + Links to FREE Printables!

This year, for some fun this Halloween season, I made this game that me and Lauren played inspired and involving characters from the popular tower defense game "Plants VS Zombies". I call this game "zombie toss", I use a small empty cardboard box to create a zombie head that will be used to toss onto the plant characters. I used small disposable cups as stand of the plant characters. The cups hold prizes inside them that anyone can get from knocking down any of the plant characters. Lauren got this present from her aunt last Christmas, a "Paint with Sand Carry Case" kit. This is our first time to use and try this kind of craft. Each sand painting kit product offers a variety of features, our kit includes 3 picture designs in it: train, butterfly, and teddy bear. It has 3 kinds of frames to put the finished sand painting into and 8 colored sands. It also comes with a spoon to scoop the sands and a design tool that will be use to spread or even out the sand all over any specified area. Lauren was very excited to use and try this sand painting kit.

This would be a great and useful product to give as a gift for kids, to use with kids to make a sand theme art & craft project or simply to past time and keep kids busy. It stimulates kid's mind to create their own beautiful and colorful works of art by filling and painting all sorts of pictures and characters using a variety of colorful sand.

Our sand painting kit doesn't have its own container for the sands, the sands were in these small plastic so I had Lauren pour or transfer all colored sands into a separate small disposable cup containers. This way, it will be easier for her to scoop or take each sand when making her sand art pictures. This product is a good activity for promoting patience as well as keeping kid's focus by filling every part of the picture with different colors of sand to be able to complete the whole picture.

Below is one of Lauren's finished sand painting. It's looks beautiful, I never thought you could make a painting using sand. Sand is definitely an awesome and wonderful medium in creating such simple but precious piece of artworks for kids. I'm sure kids will be proud and amaze by this kind of outcome that they can easily create with a sand painting art set. Overall, Lauren enjoyed doing this sand painting activity. I think it's a great craft product to get for kids and I would definitely get one for Lauren again or give one as a gift to any child.

It's easy & fun to do and gets kids involve with creativity and enhances other important skills such as coordination, visual, color sense, concentration & attention skills. There are a lot of sand painting products available in the market today, if you can't find one near you, there are a variety of sand painting products to choose from online with various features such as containers for the sands, more sand colors and more sheets of pictures for kids to fill and paint for more opportunities in creating sand painted pictures. Try this product for your kids and get them painting with sand today if they haven't yet. I guarantee it's going to be a fun and fulfilling time and activity for the kids.
